Counter Ambush
Prerequisites:  Intro to Combat Pistol

Duration:  4 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Review of visual threat assessments
  • Review of preconditions of deadly force
  • Review of contact and control
  • Review of break contact techniques
  • Hood drills (dry practice)
  • Walking ambush drills (dry practice)
  • Walking ambush drills (force on force)

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 non lethal training rounds 

ADVANCED TACTICS

Move and Shoot Obstacle Course
Prerequisites:  Combat Pistol or Tactical Rifle

Duration: 2 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Application of the five rules of combat
  • Fighting from cover
  • Paired tactics
  • Move and shoot drills
  • Malfunction clearing
  • After action drills

Required Equipment:
  • Eye  and ear protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
  • At least one spare magazine with pouch
  • At least 50 rounds of pistol ammo
          or​
  • Tactical rifle with one or two point sling
  • At least two spare magazines
  • At least 50 rounds of rifle ammo (no steel core or AP rounds)
  • Chest rig, plate carrier or magazine pouches
Team Tactics (Urban)
Prerequisites:  Intro to Close Quarter Combat

Duration: 6 hours 

Training topics and activities:

  • Team formation
  • Threat assessment 
  • Establishing security
  • Paired movement
  • Team movement
  • Break contact drills (dry practice)
  • Fire and maneuver drills (dry practice)
  • Use of deconflictiton codes 

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Tactical rifle with single or two point sling
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 non lethal training rounds

Team Tactics (Field)
Prerequisites:  Intro to Tactical Rifle

Duration:  6 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Squad formation
  • Precombat Inspection
  • Hand and Arm Signals
  • Patrol formations (file, double column, wedge and diamond)
  • Traveling methods
  • React to contact drills 

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Military style uniform 
  • Tactical rifle with single or two point sling
  • Hydration carrier, canteen or water bottle carrier
  • FRS radio capable of sub channels (optional) 

Tactical Breaching
Prerequisites:  Team Tactics Urban

Duration: 4 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of team formation
  • Role and responsibility of the breacher 
  • Breaching equipment
  • Assessing the door
  • Manual breaching techniques
  • Manual breaching drills
  • Ballistic breaching techniques
  • Ballistic breaching drills
  • Scenario training 

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Tactical rifle with single or two point sling
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 non lethal training rounds
  • 20 bird shot shotgun shells


Advanced Close Quarter Combat
Prerequisites:  Team Tactics Urban

Duration: 4 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Vehicle prep and inspection
  • Occupant roles and responsibilities
  • Embus and debus drills
  • React to ambush drills
  • Scenario training

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
          or
  • Tactical rifle with single or two point sling

Intro to Executive Protection
Prerequisites:  Counter Ambush

Duration: 8 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Working with the client
  • Walking formations
  • Cover and evacuate drills
  • Embus and debus drills
  • Scenario training

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol in strong side holster
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 non lethal training rounds

Tactical Mobility (Vehicle Ops)
Prerequisites:  Team Tactics Urban

Duration: 6 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of team formation
  • Review of paired tactics
  • Use of distraction device
  • Assessing structures 
  • Counter IED tactics
  • Deliberate and dynamic room clearing drills
  • Scenario training

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Tactical rifle with one or two point sling
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 non lethal training rounds

Rappelling and Fast Rope
Prerequisites:  Team Tactics Urban

Duration: 4 hours

  • Equipment familiarization
  • Tower safety protocols
  • Belay techniques
  • Use of rappel equipment
  • Rappelling drills
  • Rappelling with tactical gear and weapons
  • Fast rope familiarization
  • Fast rope drills
  • Fast rope with tactical gear and weapons 

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Leather gloves (provided)
  • Rappel harness (provided)
  • Bump helmet or ballistic helmet
  • Chest rig or plate carrier
