Intro to Combat Pistol
Prerequisites:  None

Duration:  7.5 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Visual threat assessments
  • Contact and control techniques
  • Break contact techniques
  • Four point draw from holster
  • Combat marksmanship drills 
  • Tactical reload
  • Emergency reloads
  • After action drills
  • Intro to counter ambush techniques
  • Move and shoot basics

Required Equipment:
  • Eye  and ear protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
  • At least one spare magazine in pouch
  • At least 100 rounds of ammunition
Intro to Tactical Rifle
Prerequisites:  None

Duration: 7.5 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Battle sight zero
  • Combat marksmanship drills 
  • Tactical reload
  • Emergency reloads
  • After action drills
  • Intro to close quarter combat
  • Move and shoot basics

Required Equipment:
  • Eye  and ear protection
  • Tactical rifle with one or two point sling
  • At least two spare magazines
  • At least 150 rounds of ammunition 
  • Chest rig, plate carrier or magazine pouches
Intro to Close Quarter Combat
Prerequisites:  Combat Pistol or Tactical Rifle

Duration: 7.5 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Review of five rules of combat
  • Assessing structures
  • Individual movement techniques
  • Paired tactics in buildings
  • Movement through doors, rooms and halls
  • Deliberate room clearing drills (dry practice)
  • Deliberate room clearing drills (force on target/UTM)
  • Force on force scenarios

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
          or
  • Tactical rifle with one or two point sling
  • Nonlethal training system (airsoft or UTM accepted)
  • At least 100 rounds of non lethal training munitions

Intro to Low Light Tactics
Prerequisites:  Intro to Close Quarter Combat

Duration: 3 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • Review of five rules of combat
  • Equipment selection
  • 10 principles of low light tactics
  • Review of assessing structures
  • Low light paired tactics
  • Low light room clearing drills (dry practice)
  • Low light room clearing drills (force on target)
  • Low light scenarios (non lethal training munitions)

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Hand held flash light (minimum 60 lumens)
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
          or
  • Tactical rifle (mounted light optional)
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At least 50 rounds of non lethal munitions
Intro to Low Light Marksmanship
Prerequisites:  Intro to Combat Pistol or Tactical Rifle

Duration:  3 hours

Training topics and activities:

  • Review of weapon safety
  • 10 principles or low light tactics
  • Hand held flashlight techniques
  • Threat identification drills (dry practice)
  • Low light marksmanship drills

Required Equipment:
  • Clear eye protection
  • Hearing protection
  • Green or red glow stick
  • Hand held flash light (minimum 200 lumens)
  • Semi-automatic pistol with strong side holster
  • At least two magazines with spare pouch
  • At least 50 rounds of pistol ammunition
          or
  • Tactical rifle (mounted light optional)
  • At least two magazines
  • Chest rig, plate carrier or magazine pouch
  • At least 50 rounds of rifle ammo (no steel core or AP rounds)
Intro to Tactical Combat Casualty Care
Prerequisites:  None

Training topics and activities:

  • Phases of TCCC
  • Rapid patient assessment
  • Use of tourniquets
  • Use of hemostatic agents (clotting agents)
  • Use of compression bandage
  • Use of occlusive seals
  • Scenario training
  • Force on force scenario training

Required Equipment:
  • Eye protection
  • Non lethal training system (airsoft or UTM)
  • At lest 50 rounds of non lethal munitions

  • At least 20 slug shells
