LOCATION: Marauders Urban Assault Course
Near 419th Avenue and Elliot Road (1 hour west of Phoenix, AZ)
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
This program is designed to introduce participants to the basic skills used by infantry personnel for ground combat operations. Unlike traditional military training, the training is conducted in a professional manner without excessive harassment of trainees. Topics include:
Day 1
Program Orientation and General Safety Briefing
Warrior Mindset Development
Uniform and Equipment Selection
Battle Sight Zero
Rifle Combat Marksmanship Training
Individual and Paired Movement Techniques
Specialized Training*
Low Light Marksmanship
*During each GCS, a different topics is focused on during the afternoon of Day 1:
- Introduction to Small Unit Field Tactics
- Introduction to Military Operations on Urban Terrain
- Executive Protection in High Risk Environments
Day 2
Individual Marksmanship Qualification
Individual Move and Shoot Obstacle Course
Team Move and Shoot Obstacle Course
Tactical Tiki (Combat Stress Scenario)
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Uniform or Tactical Clothing including Shirt, Pants and Hat
Boots
Eye and Ear Protection for Live Fire
Primary Weapon (AR 15 or M4 recommended) with Weapon Mounted Light
At Least 4 Magazines
At Least 200 Rounds of Rifle Ammunition
Chest Rig or Plate Carrier
Hydration Carrier or Dump Pouch for Water Bottles
CAT1 or CAT2 (Combat Application Tourniquet)
Individual First Aid Kit
At Least Three Gallons of Water
Snacks and Meals for 5 meals (1 MRE)
Individual Camping Equipment (Tent, Sleeping Bag, Ground Mat)
